Friends of the Batavia Peace Garden Mission Statement

Our mission statement is to support a vibrant and successful atmosphere in our community through the enjoyment of the beautiful public garden and through programs and services that benefit and support residents of Genesee County. Through the development and expansion of thts garden we bring local history to life. We hold a high regard for the arts by hosting cultural activities and strive to provide opportunities whenever possible for local artists to display their work. We work in partnership with NYS War of 1812 Bicentennial Peace GardenTrail and the International Peace Garden Foundation on shared goals. We strive to promote internatiomal understanding, goodwill and world peace.
